Plateforme PAM, le patrimoine appartient à tout le monde

La Direction régionale des affaires culturelles (DRAC) des Pays de la Loire a lancé le 5 juin 2023 la plateforme PAM (pour "le Patrimoine Appartient à tout le Monde"). Cette plateforme permet à chacun de déposer des photos dont il est l’auteur afin de partager avec le plus grand nombre ce qui relève à ses yeux de notre patrimoine. Cette banque d’images géoréférencées peut être consultée selon une entrée cartographique, iconographique ou thématique.

Lithographs from Orléans dating from the 19th century

At the beginning of this year, the Loiret départemental archives unearthed 72 lithographs depicting Orléans in the 19th century. They are the work of Charles Pensée, a French painter and draftsman who worked particularly on architectural depictions, and Alphonse Beaujoint, a draftsman and etcher who specialised in picturesque views. As part of the city has since been destroyed, their lithographs are a precious account of what Orléans could have been like before 1870.

In June 2016, the City of Tours announced the proposal regarding the legacy of some 1,200 artworks from the manufacturer, Léon Cligman and his wife Martine, which would be on loan from the State to the City of Tours. This year, students at the Lycée Angers Le Fresne sixth-form college are helping to restore the Loire black poplar tree as part of a national call for projects, BIODIVEA, aimed at developing biodiversity on the farmland of agricultural lycées. This Lycée got involved in this call for projects in 2012. The project also concerns protection of local apple and pear varieties.
