The Fondation Marquise de Narros - Institut de France is the legatee of "La Colombière", a property on the banks of the Loire in Gennes-Val-de-Loire. In partnership with Mission Val de Loire and Gennes-Val-de-Loire, two residence programmes are available on the theme of the Loire Valley cultural landscape and its portrayals, each one lasting six weeks through the summer of 2017: one artist-in-residence programme and one researcher-in-residence programme.
Provisional dates for the residence programmes:
The work produced by the residents will be presented during the European Heritage Days (16-17 September 2017).
This call for applications is intended for students at the end of their studies or recent graduates (within the last five years) with five years of higher education from art, landscape and architecture schools in the Loire Valley and beyond the national territory.
All forms of expression or artistic disciplines are possible.

Applications are to be submitted to Mission Val de Loire before the strict deadline of 21 April 2017
The applications are reviewed by Mission Val de Loire, then submitted to a jury set up by the Institut de France, chaired by Ms Danièle Sallenave, of the Académie française, curator of La Colombière.
The names of the selected artists will be communicated on: 15 May 2017 at the latest.
