With 11 November 2015 being the first day of Saint Martin Year, celebrating the 17th centenary of the saint’s birth, François Christian Semur examines the way that the sainted Bishop of Tours’ appeal has survived the passage of centuries. The work has a preface by Bruno Judic, Professor of Medieval History at Tours University and President of the Saint Martin of Tours European Cultural Centre.
