The new Regional Heritage and Architecture Committee (CRPA) has been set up

Established by the Act on Freedom of Creation, Architecture and Heritage (LCAP), the new Centre-Loire Valley Regional Heritage and Architecture Committee (CRPA) held its first meeting on Tuesday 17 October. Chaired by Christine Fauquet, Regional Councillor and Mayor of Sainte-Règle (Indre-et-Loire), its aim is to come up with measures for protecting, safeguarding and enhancing heritage and architecture.

Grouping together the Regional Heritage and Sites Committee (CRPS) and Département-level Movables Committees (CDOM), this Committee has three sections: 

  • protection and enhancement of real estate heritage;
  • architectural projects and works on residential and office buildings;
  • protection of movables and works.
