After ten years of cruises, the Amarante boat found itself back in the Candes St Martin boatyard – this time for a real makeover at the hands of Louis Delaporte. Following four months of hard work between January and April 2016, and a series of major modifications, it has been enlarged and refitted to increase comfort, quality and passenger capacity and facilitate handling under low flow conditions.
29.90 metres long (it previously measured 18 metres) and 5.10 metres wide, the boat can now accommodate 70 passengers (or 35/45 under roof) and its crew.
It has a comfortable heated windowed area sheltered from bad weather and an open deck.
Only 60% of the boat’s surface area will be equipped with seats, for reasons of space and ergonomy and to add to the pleasure of a cruise where meals are not included.
