Master Plan for Water Management and Development (SDAGE)
Published on 27 September 2016 - Updated 04 January 2021
Established by the 1992 water legislation, the Master Plan for Water Management and Development (SDAGE) is a planning tool which defines, for each river basin, the key guidelines to ensure balanced management of the water resource.
These are determined in accordance with the principles of the Water Framework Directive and water legislation, as well as the environmental objectives set for each body of water (lakes, reaches, estuaries, coastal water and groundwater).
