Bléré in the Cher Valley, Chenonceau and its surroundings

Published on 14 June 2017 - Updated 19 July 2017

Château de Chenonceau is one of the highlights of Touraine’s heritage. Its surroundings also harbour edifices and items of furniture that may often be little known but are nonetheless of considerable interest. Following the systematic inventorying of the Canton of Bléré’s sixteen municipalities, this work presents (in addition to Chenonceau itself and its château) all the remarkable buildings that structure the wine- and cereal-growing landscapes crossed by the Cher from east to west.
