“Angers. Formation de la ville et évolution de l’habitat”

This overview of Angers invites readers to discover the richness and complexity of the city’s development. Researchers from the Pays de la Loire region’s and City of Angers’ heritage departments carried out a series of field surveys and called upon historians, archaeologists, geographers and palaeographers, who collaborated with them to create a work worthy of the wealth of research that went into it, a synthesis of a wide range of knowledge on the city across the various eras that shaped it, from antiquity to the present day via the Ancien Régime.
