Youngsters from the Loire in the French team of the WorldSkills competition

The National Finals from 22nd to 24th November 2012 brought together some 70,000 visitors over the three days of the competition. Of the 832 candidates in the 50 competing professions, let's note the gold medals scooped by Florian Brinon and Nicolas Duchène from La Mouillère sixth-form college in Orléans (Loiret) in the Garden-Landscape category and by Sidoine Bocquet in a vocational training contract at the Stone Institute (Loire-Atlantique) in the Stone Carving category.

They are now members of the French Professions Team which will represent France at the international competition from 2nd to 7th July 2013 in Leipzig, Germany.
