As part of the information campaign on landscapes piloted by Mission Val de Loire, 4 UNESCO landscape workshops have been organised for community authorities and professionals working in heritage, landscape and land use planning. These days are free of charge and designed for the exchange of good practices, and provide the opportunity to become informed about the implementation conditions of aspects of the management plan for the UNESCO site.

Two sessions have been organised for each workshop in order to facilitate the participation of the professionals involved.

The themes identified for 2011 are as follows:

  • Workshop 3: Managing the urban spread and maintaining green spaces
  • Workshop 4: Architectural and landscape integration of new districts

At the end of each of these workshops, a practical notebook will be distributed to all the professionals and associations involved, in order to reproduce the case studies and conclusions of these workshops.
