The “Malstrom” duo’s album/travel log

In May 2015, Séverin Valière and Bertrand Duris, two young singers and musicians from Indre, set off on an unusual adventure, intent on spending two weeks walking a 250-km itinerary with just their vivaciousness and instruments for company. Their premise: there’s nothing better than fresh encounters and the expressive power of music to aid in (re)discovery of Gaston Couté’s politically committed poetry.
They walked in the poet’s footsteps from Gargilesse-Dampierre to Meung-sur-Loire, singing, playing, eating, laughing, and enjoying some extraordinary and sometimes highly unlikely encounters…
The duo’s adventure awaits your discovery on their new album/travel log.
“Malstrom concert dates (with the album on sale) in the region:
- 11 December at 8 p.m., L’Avant-Scène – Argenton-sur-Creuse (Admission €8 – free for under 12-year-olds)
- 19 December at 8 p.m., Le Fabuleux Destin – Aubusson
