The 2015 Park Eco-Trophy

The names of the 13 winners of the 8th edition of Loire-Anjou-Touraine Regional Nature Park’s Eco-Trophy Competition were revealed on 10 November 2015. The competition rewards local actors (associations, farmers, businesses, etc.) whose innovative initiatives / achievements combine economic development with social concerns and respect for the environment.
Winners include:
“Energy – control of consumption and/or promotion of renewable energies” category
1st Prize ex-aequo - SARL Alzon in Ligré (37)
Action presented: eco-design of a window combining respect for built heritage and thermal performance, adaptable to all old buildings on listed sites. Patent filed.
“Local Authorities” category
2nd Prize – Municipality of La Ménitré (49)
Action presented: artistic approach to landscape with the “Mystery of the Loire” event – creation of a temporary garden as a venue for a dance recital performed by municipality professionals and amateurs old and Young.
