The first edition of this fête, “Mystère, Miss terre” (“Mystery, Miss Earth”), took place on 26 September at Seuilly Abbey (Indre-et-Loire) and attracted 2,000 people. A variety of activities were on offer around the garden theme: stories and walks, demonstrations and workshops, and a lecture by Alain Baraton, chief gardener at the Trianon National Estate and the Versailles Grand Parc, delighting the 300 participants.
The aim was to create “an event which would be educational and interactive with the public” reiterates André Laurent, President of the Park’s Communication Group.
