On Saturday 28 June 2014, a public holiday, some sixty people attended the inauguration of an exhibition on this experiment, in the presence of the municipality’s elected officials and Mission Val de Loire, a partner of the project. For several months, local inhabitants took part in the drafting of a project for their municipality, with the help of researchers and practitioners engaged in this piece of action research, which is part of a programme under the Ministry of Sustainable Development.
A 3rd seminar was held on Monday 30 June, providing researchers with an opportunity to share initial results, with the prospect of an upcoming colloquium and publication of a book on the subject.
The Villandry exhibition will be presented at the Loire Valley Rendezvous in Tours on 25 November.
