"ReNeu: New Renaissance in Europe" programme

Mission Val de Loire has taken part in this European programme aimed at offering cultural itineraries that can be consulted online and based on the Renaissance in Europe. In this way, the aim is to illustrate the common values that galvanised 16th century Europe, and which are partly to thank for the identity it has forged today. For the Loire Valley, the itinerary "in François I's footsteps" showcases châteaux, religious buildings and town centres that are brought to the fore by the cultural season "1515-2015 François I – A Renaissance in the Loire Valley".
The project brought together 5 European partners
- The Tuscany region [Italy]
- Krakow and the Malopolska region (Villa Decius association) [Poland]
- Granada, Patronato de la Alhambra y Generalife [Spain]
- Setepes, Direção Regional da Cultura do Norte [Portugal]
- Mission Val de Loire [France]
