For the first time nationally, a Collaboration Agreement has been signed between floral decoration partners : the Regional SEM (economic business partner) of the Pays de la Loire, the architects-urban developers of the region (URCAUE), the researchers (Plante et Cité), the ornamental horticulture professionals (ARFHO) and the Conseil National des Villes et Villages Fleuris – National Council for the Floral decoration of towns and villages (CNVVF).

This agreement confirms the work done this year by the Regional SEM of the Pays de la Loire, organiser of the regional competition of the flowered towns and villages on behalf of the Regional Council, and its partners on quality label orientation.

A training and framework have been set up for the members of the jury, as well as a technical document that is updated with information from the local authorities allowing the follow-up of their activities, and an assessment questionnaire designed to record their expectations.

These tools have been used from this year onwards in the Pays de la Loire. More than just a bringing together of experience, the objective is to really achieve dynamic development and excellence in matters of landscaping and a recognition of the challenges of sustainable development.
