A report on Montsoreau in “Villages de France” on Arte and a series of reports in TF1’s 1 o’clock television journal were broadcast in October.
During the week of 27 to 31 October 2014, TF1’s 1 o’clock television journal presented a series of reports on Le Saumurois, acquainting viewers with a selection of its heritages, incuding:
Montsoreau has stood overlooking the Loire since the 11th century, in the heart of a region now inscribed in the UNESCO World Heritage List. Atop a white chalk cliff, the village was born from the union of two settlements, Rest and Montsoreau.
