“Le Pays d'Azay-le-Rideau” VOLUME II

It is the result of the collecting, selecting and writing carried out by Photography Club leader Jean Carrique and Serge Brosseau, President of the Rouissons d’Bréhémont, with the participation of the inhabitants of the Community of Communes, who brought the work to life with their eye-witness accounts, anecdotes and personal documents.  

The work is arranged around six topics: 

• life in Pays d’Azay-le-Rideau in the early 20^th century,
• rural life in villages,
• life in market towns and hamlets,
• lordly life in the manor houses,
• trades and businesses in action,
• festivals and events.
