A national plan to boost tourism in the Centre-Val de Loire region

On 20 October 2017, the Centre-Val de Loire Regional Council signed a partnership agreement with Atout France at the Château Royal d’Amboise in order to develop the tourism appeal of the region and its heritage for the German and Chinese markets.
Amounting to €200,000, this plan to boost tourism will enable the development of actions promoting the Loire Valley as a tourist destination (including developing closer ties with tour operators and travel agencies in Germany, a promotional film broadcast on local Chinese TV and onboard internal flights and a game themed around the Loire chateaux).
