From March to November 2014, fifteen venues are hosting the collections of the FRAC Centre, the FRAC Pays de la Loire and the Frac Poitou-Charentes, as well as new creations, thus offering an ambitious programme combining contemporary art and heritage. Launched in 2012, the midsummer night's dream programme features, in a second edition, through numerous thematic approaches, a series of exhibitions on the region.

They bring together a body of work which gives a perspective on reality, giving rise to meaningful encounters, conversations and dialogues. The power of the works lies in sensitive combinations - landscape linked to industry, progress tied to history, architecture to experimentation, language to representation, fragility to power, the real to the imaginary, memory to narration and poetry to humour.

The dissemination of the works contributes to more widespread acknowledgement and promotion of outstanding heritage sites, characterised by history and architecture.
