2nd Great Rivers Biennial: the Mekong

The Maison de Loire in Anjou is organising another Great Rivers Biennial, this year involving associations and schools in the region. Exhibitions, a symposium, conference and day of festivities will bring Asia to the Communauté de communes Vallée Loire Authion in the spring and early summer 2010.
On the programme:
- Four evenings presenting the Mekong River
- Loire-Mekong conference on the theme "Hydraulic installations and development" ( find out more )
- Weekend of festivities - floating market on the Loire
- Photo exhibition by J. Ming- "The Mekong in all its states"
- Artefact exhibition by J.Y.Stona- "Asian curiosities"
- And other events in the municipalities
