Following last spring’s encounters, Mission Val de Loire has suggested holding further discussion days. Aimed specifically at mediation professionals, guide lecturers, tourist office guides and the like, they are set to be organised around a cocktail buffet lunch – an ideal occasion for exchanging viewpoints – with morning sessions for everybody and afternoons reserved for the most highly motivated participants. The encounters will take place on Tuesday 15 April in Beaugency and Thursday 17 April 2014 in Saumur.
The Loire Valley’s inscription on the World Heritage List is of major importance in mobilising stakeholders in the valley’s future, and the site is now provided with a Management Plan. Implementation of the latter’s Guideline VIII – Fostering appropriation of the inscription’s values – is a subject well worth sharing with all actors involved in cultural and heritage mediation.
This is why Mission Val de Loire is organising these Professional Encounters between Mediators:
8:45 a.m. Welcome of participants
An opportunity to discuss questions raised on the subject that brings us together: the Loire Valley’s inscription in the UNESCO World Heritage List.
An on-site visit to learn about participants’ professional practices and ways of appropriating the inscription.
Sessions continue in the afternoon for the most highly motivated
Two parallel workshops on designing actions for Mission Val de Loire’s 2014 programme, suggested during the 2013 Encounters.
4:15 p.m. End of encounters
Bien reçu !
Nous vous répondrons prochainement.
