In May 2015, Séverin Valière and Bertrand Duris, two young singers and musicians from Indre, set off on an unusual adventure, intent on spending two weeks walking a 250-km itinerary with just their vivaciousness and instruments for company. Their premise: there’s nothing better than fresh encounters and the expressive power of music to aid in (re)discovery of Gaston Couté’s politically committed poetry.
They walked in the poet’s footsteps from Gargilesse-Dampierre to Meung-sur-Loire, singing, playing, eating, laughing, and enjoying some extraordinary and sometimes highly unlikely encounters…
