The Ministry of Culture launched the "Innovative digital services" call for proposals back in 2012 to finance and support solutions aimed at facilitating access to heritage, culture and creation. This initiative also meets the goals of passing on knowledge and encouraging mainstream access to culture.

The call for proposals is intended for stakeholders of the digital economy and innovation ecosystem (so companies, associations or research laboratories) with a view to broadening the scope of initiatives, paving the way to new types of partnership and new proposals for accessing culture via digital technology.

The experimental phase must be conducted in partnership with at least one cultural stakeholder, who commits alongside the applicant to make sure the project presented provides practical solutions to the issues in terms of technology or use encountered by cultural sector professionals.

The call for proposals focuses on solutions grounded in emerging technologies in the culture sphere, or technologies which are likely to help bring about new digital uses for cultural stakeholders.

Deadline for submitting proposals: 1 October 2020
