Bulles d’archéo - The first centuries in Blois' history

Blois' archaeology showcased through comic strips!

For each of the 6 periods presented in this book (the Mesolithic, Iron Age, antiquity, Blois in 1000, Blois in the 13th century, the Renaissance and the archaeologist's profession), five drawings shed light on the city's development over time, the buildings during these times and what life was like for residents. 

Accompanying each drawing is a reproduction with commentary where word balloons explain each detail making up the illustration and provide relevant scientific facts.  

All of these drawings provide a unique summary of archaeological knowledge gained over the past twenty years.
