Towns & villages in their country[sides]: what urban forms for tomorrow?

Published on 25 April 2018 - Updated 13 November 2018

In order to get local stakeholders more involved in the sustainable planning of their regions, the Loiret Council of Architecture, Urban Planning and the Environment (CAUE) (as part of the regional "ID in the countryside" initiative with the Pays Forêt d'Orléans - Val de Loire, Sologne Val Sud and Loire Beauce) organised two architecture and landscape forums at Cléry-Saint-André and Sully-sur-Loire, with the opportunity of trialling a series of on-site workshops bringing professionals (architects, urban planners and landscape architects) and elected representatives together to produce visuals outside of an official procurement framework.

The report presenting the 2 forums is available on request from the Loiret CAUE.

Showcasing the key points highlighted during the forums, a travelling exhibition made up of 8 panels ( PDF ) was on display in Cléry-Saint-André and Sully-sur-Loire during the second half of 2017.
