Two new French sites on the World Heritage List

The Episcopal City of Albi for cultural heritage, and the Pitons, cirques and remparts of Reunion Island for natural heritage have become the 34th and 35th French sites to have their outstanding universal value acknowledged.

At its 34th session, the Committee included 21 new sites - 15
cultural, 5 natural and 1 mixed, bringing the total number of sites
on the List to 911.
