As an extension to the 2017 edition of the “Gardens in the Loire Valley” cultural season hosted by the Mission Val-de-Loire, from 31 May - 30 June 2019, the Pays-de-la-Loire Region is offering residents of the Loire Valley an original way to rediscover its gardens, the natural and cultural treasures of the Pays-de-la-Loire.
For this first edition, the formula is simple: from 2.30 pm, visitors are offered the opportunity to visit the castle and its grounds before watching an evening performance of Joël Pommerat’s play “Cendrillon” (“Cinderella”), directed by Camille de La Guillonnière from Angers.
Offered in fifteen gardens located in the Pays-de-la Loire, this artistic and cultural programme is being organised in partnership with the Pays-de-la-Loire Regional Theatre, the Anjou Festival and the Pays-de-la Loire Association of Parks, Gardens and Landscapes.
