The Loire à Vélo cycle route is dividing in two between Montjean and Saint-Florent

Two paths are now offered to cyclists on the Loire à Vélo cycle route between Montjean-sur-Loire and Saint-Florent-le-Vieil: a section which crosses the Thau Valley, a few kilometres to the east between the Loire and the RD 751 road, has now been added to the historic route.

Less risky than the historic route, which drivers pass alongside at more than 70 km/h, this new circuit moves slightly away from the Loire landscapes to cross an interesting wetland from an ornithological point of view with local rural heritage in the form of farms and wells.
