In 2014 and 2015, Mission Val de Loire provided 10 public buildings with tactile terminals for presentation of the multimedia exhibition on the Loire Valley World Heritage Site’s cultural landscape. Chinon Fortress itself was equipped when it reopened in 2010. Created by Mission Val de Loire, the exhibition is also available on loan free of charge.

A tactile screen gives users free rein in deciding how they go about approaching the heritage content and cultural values taken into account in the decision to inscribe the Loire Valley on the World Heritage List in November 2000.
