"Résolutions" innovation in tourism competition

A call for innovations in tourism, sports and leisure activities of the future was unveiled at the end of September as part of the "Résolutions" competition series. Launched by the Pays de la Loire region at the end of 2016, this competition provides support for businesses innovating in strategic sectors.
The "Résolutions" competition takes place over an 8-month cycle and consists of the following phases:
- 1st phase – outlining the problems: businesses share their development issues; a jury will meet to prioritise which issues to deal with;
- 2nd phase – solutions: problem solvers suggest suitable ways to resolve the issues; here again a jury will meet to choose from amongst the solutions suggested;
- 3rd and final phase – development of solutions: the project leader and problem solver work together using an open innovation strategy.
Five winners will be selected for each “Résolutions” competition, with a budget of €20,000 per project up for grabs.
Closing date for entries for the call for issues: 5 December 2017
Period for entries for the call for solutions: 1.5 months from 5 February 2018.
