Regional Development and Water Management Plan 2010-2015

The Regional development and water management plan – SDAGE (Schéma directeur d’aménagement et de gestion des eaux) sets out the strategy for the Loire-Brittany basin with the aim of ensuring that as many water courses, lakes, water tables and hillsides as possible are in good condition between now and 2015, taking into account a range of natural, technical and economic factors.
In a meeting held on Friday 30 November and chaired by the
former minister and Member of the European Parliament Ambroise
Guellec, the committee for the Loire-Brittany basin adopted the
draft SDAGE for 2010 to 2015, as well as the water rates for the
Loire-Brittany water authority for 2008.
At the end of 2007, the Loire-Brittany water authority
published
water course quality maps for the period
2003-2005.
