The Pays de la Loire Region is adopting a prospective initiative looking as far ahead as 2040. Several approaches are being taken to compare the visions of experts, artists and citizens.

The Region has thus asked comic book authors to paint their picture of what the region will look like in 30 years. The scenario of one of these comics presents two Loire islands: "technoloire", the island looking to the future, and "retroloire", the island looking back to the past. The construction of a bridge will bring their perspectives face-to-face.

Workshops of the future in the 1st half of 2013

The Workshops of the future are opportunities for discussion around a supper buffet. In small groups of 8 to 10 people, Pays de la Loire inhabitants will be able to express their ideas, talk about what motivates them and what they hope for their children through an original facilitation method...

Two workshops are organised in the Loire Valley listed site:

  • Les Ponts-de-Cé: Wednesday 3rd April 2013 from 7 p.m. to 9.30 p.m., Salle Emstal, Promenade d'Emstal
  • Fontevraud Abbey: Thursday 11th April 2013 from 7 p.m. to 9.30 p.m., Fontevraud Abbey
