Launch of a series of meetings on the Angers southern bypass project

Since 2009, the project for a bypass south of Angers has been managed by Angers Loire Métropole and integrated into the “schéma de cohérence territorial” (SCOT – overall urban development programme). During the initial meeting, to be held on Monday 12 December 2011 at 6:30 p.m. at the Angers Conference Centre, the four groups of routes envisaged for the bypass will be explained to ensure that the public understands their possible impacts.

Schedule for the meetings:

November – December 2011: meetings between the political and economic actors concerned
12 December 2011: first public meeting, at the Angers Conference Centre
29 February, 19 March and 27 March 2012: theme-based public meetings
Summer 2012: Public meeting closing the series of meetings.

The National Commission for Public Debate has appointed Pierre-Gérard Merlette as guest speaker at the series of meetings to be held on the southern bypass project.
