Forum “The Loire & its tributaries at the heart of the Europe of rivers”

Held in Orleans on Wednesday 10 December 2014 and organised by the Loire Public Establishment, this free event is open to all comers and aims to be an opportunity for exchange of experience and transfer of know-how with regard to cooperation on integrated management of river basins. The day will combine theme-based roundtables and targeted encounters with cooperation project partners.
3 work sessions will take place in parallel:
- Adapting to the impacts of climate change: a shared problem and solutions specific to river basins.
- Developments in flood management practices in a context of adaptation to the impacts of climate change.
- Reducing cultural heritage’s vulnerability to flood risks in a context of adaptation to the impacts of climate change.
In this 3rd session, Isabelle Languet, Director of Mission Val de Loire, will be putting the spotlight on the Forum’s “Promotion” component.
