First Regional Heritage Encounters in Pays de la Loire

The Pays de la Loire Region will be holding the first Regional Heritage Encounters at Fontevraud Abbey on 10 November 2011, on the theme of mural paintings, and stakes at play with regard to their study, restoration/conservation, and optimisation.

In particular, the encounters will provide an opportunity to present professionals and actors in the region and surrounding regions interested in questions bearing on heritage with the diagnosis recently drawn up by the Inventory Centre at the Region’s Heritage Department, based on an inventory of mural paintings carried out across the Region’s five départements in 2010/2011.
