Events guides for summer 2010

Various organisations are publishing their guides, with a whole host of events for inhabitants and visitors to explore and find out more about the natural and cultural landscapes of the Loire Valley.
The Val de Loire Mission presents its
Loire Valley heritage diary
online, where you can find all the events for exploring and
promoting the Loire Valley - World Heritage.
The Loire Anjou Touraine Regional Natural Park has published
its
visits booklet for 2010
, available from tourist offices at the Maison du Parc in
Montsoreau.
Outings and events can also be viewed on the
Park website.
And for finding your way, the Park has published a new edition
of its
tourist and heritage map
in partnership with the Institut National Géographique
(IGN) and thanks to funding from the two regions, Centre and Pays
de la Loire.
This also seeks to promote:
- the tools for exploring and raising awareness about the environment, produced by the Park
- tourist and heritage sites
- useful accommodation addresses for passing visitors who would like to plan their trip at the last minute (camp sites, camper van area, horse-riding gîtes and youth hostels, etc.)
The Association des parcs et jardins de la région
Centre (APJRC) has published
the
guide to cultural events in gardens in the Centre
Region.
The Conservatoire du patrimoine naturel de la région Centre has published the guide to nature outings in the Centre Region , which is also available online.
