Competition for the Loire Valley’s natural grasslands

The competition rewards farmers whose work on plots of land best reconciles ecological and agronomic interests. It promotes stockbreeders’ knowhow and technical expertise. This year, the competition focuses on the mown grasslands of Grand-Prée de Rochefort in Maine-et-Loire and will take place on 13 June 2016.
The competition is organised by the Pays de la Loire’s Conservatory of Natural Areas in partnership with the Maine-et-Loire Chamber of Agriculture in the Loire Valley.
The winner and his plot of grassland will be representing the territory’s colours at national level during the General Agricultural Competition in Paris.
