The "Promenades Photographiques" Festival organises the Mark Grosset Prize for the purposes of discovering and promoting young photographers from international photography schools. In partnership with Mission Val de Loire, the winners will receive a €1,500 grant and a residency place to enable them to create a photographic artwork intended to enhance the Loire Valley World Heritage site.
Each school nominates one student to compete in one of the two categories: documentary or artistic photography.
Two prizes will be awarded by a jury made up of experts in the field (including a gallery owner, journalist and teacher).
The application must include a selection of 20 digital files and a written text explaining the images.
The deadline for entries is 26 June.
