“Architecture and Heritage” Competition

This competition honours renovations, extensions or work incorporating a contemporary structure carried out according to best practice and the spirit of the association: 

• respect for the original architecture,
• use of local, traditional techniques and materials,
• environmentally friendly,
• in tune with the existing buildings and the surrounding landscape, etc.

It promotes the project’s architectural and human dimension: materials and techniques used, help received, craftsmen and architects enlisted, human interest and history of the project.
