The Mission Val de Loire took part in the 11th Annual meetings of the Association of French World Heritage Properties, held in Strasbourg from 26th to 29th March 2013.

Meeting in Strasbourg for the General Assembly of the ABFPM, the 38 French properties included in the UNESCO World Heritage List took part in a symposium on Wednesday 27th March on the theme of "shared heritage" – a central subject in heritage construction and identification, as well as in the processes of getting to grips with and setting up a necessary management strategy for its preservation.

Sessions on 28th March were given over to the Association's work and to discussions between French world heritage properties on the themes that keep them busy on a daily basis: management, mediation and international relations.

The ABFPM's annual meetings were concluded by Vincent Berjot, Director-General of Heritage, who told the participants about the draft heritage law currently being drawn up.

The Mission Val de Loire was also re-elected to the Association's Board for its third term.
