It was a moving occasion, particularly as regards the tribute paid to Yves Dauge, President of the Association since 2007, who had decided to step down. The ABFPM’s new president is Jean-François Caron, Mayor of Loos-en-Gohelle and Vice-President of the Mining Basin Mission.
As usual, this annual meeting included visits, working sessions, lectures and discussions, and allowed its participants to discover the wealth of French properties included in the World Heritage List. During this 2019 session, pride of place was given to the cathedral of Saint-Étienne in Bourges, listed in 1992 .
