Blending Viticulture and Tourism, Saumur University Campus, in partnership with Edgard Pisani Agricultural College in Montreuil Bellay (49), is launching a bachelor’s degree specialising in “Tourism and Wine” at the start of this new academic year.
In response to strong demand from the profession, this “wine tourism” bachelor’s degree is unique in the Loire Valley. It will run from September 2010 to February 2011, alternating theoretical teaching and field practicals with wine-making and tourism professionals. Students will then go on a placement in a professional environment from March 2011, for a maximum of six months.
