In the same way as the Loire, châteaux or vineyards, gardens are also a strong marker of the Loire Valley's identity. In order to develop this sector, an action plan conducted by the Centre-Loire Valley Tourist Board (CRT), together with the Centre Region Association of Parks and Gardens (APJRC), tourist development agencies (ADT) and county tourist boards (CDT), will be rolled out over 3 years.
This plan sets out to win over a "general public" clientele by focusing on the emotions and experiences of visitors.
The "Escapades aux jardins" initiative plans to make use of several communication tools:
