6 new sites in the Loire Valley have been awarded the Qualité Tourisme label

The Prefect of the Centre Region awarded this tourism quality label to the six tourist sites in early January 2012. They join the ranks of eight other sites that have already earned the award in the Centre region.
The six sites are:
- Domaine régional de Chaumont-sur-Loire
- Pagode de Chanteloup
- Château de Gizeux
- Jardins de Valmer
- Musée Balzac - Château de Saché
- Maison du souvenir de Maillé
These sites are involved in the regional quality scheme "Qualité sites en Val de Loire" run by the Touraine Tourist Board. A total of 39 tourist sites belong to this scheme, of which the 19 major heritage sites of the Loire Valley are committed to achieving excellence.
