From July to September, to mark the finalisation of its landscaping strategy, Agglopolys is holding a series of discovery walks designed to help inhabitants make sense of the landscapes that form the background to their everyday lives.

  • Thursday 3 July, Saint-Gervais-la-Forêt: Vineuil commercial area, a landscape to be reconsidered?
  • Wednesday 9 July, Vineuil: The Loire Valley UNESCO World Heritage site viewed from above. With the participation of Myriam Laidet, project executive at Mission Val de Loire.
  • Tuesday 9 September, Chailles: The evolution of our countryside: between suburban extensions, preservation of natural sites and farmland.
  • Saturday 13 September, Marolles: Grand Pierre et Vitain Nature Reserve: an outstanding landscape?
  • Sunday 21 September, Molineuf: Our region’s forests: what roles? What uses?

These walks form part of a consultation that includes a photograph competition, for which internauts can vote on who is to be awarded the public’s choice prize, and a field survey carried out among local inhabitants by 4th-year students at the National School for Higher Studies in Nature and Landscape Architecture (ENSNP), on the theme “personal, social and cultural concepts of landscapes”.
