AUF Partnership

In April 2006 the International Rivers and Heritage Institute supported universities from the Val de Loire in putting together their bids to provide course development services, taught courses and post graduate tutoring for the Pacific Asia section of the Agence Universitaire de la Francophonie (AUF) - a worldwide network connecting more than 600 higher education establishments in the French-speaking world.

Their bids were accepted in May 2006 and the work begins in September 2006. The partners will meet in Hanoi for the launch, which will aim to establish a calendar of work for the partners, amongst whom are many universities of South East Asia: Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia.
