Since the beginning of September 2014, the Château de Sully has been home to 43 pieces of furniture on loan from the Mobilier National for at least five years. Benjamin Fendler, manager of the château, requested this loan in 2012 to continue the work initiated 10 years ago to bring the château back to life, with restoration works and investments from the Loiret General Council.
The furniture is now displayed in the bedroom in the square tower, the dining room and the grand salon. The grand salon looks like the postcard which has been used as an example, i.e., like a living castle, ready to receive its guests, just as it did in the past.
