Les Ponts-de-Cé: call for proposals for bringing the Loire to life this summer

With a view to rounding off the town's tourist and cultural offering, and in light of residents' and tourists' expectations, Les Ponts-de-Cé is looking to develop a range of activities to be enjoyed by everyone on the Loire.  

For, whilst the canoeing-kayaking club already provides a wide array of sports activities, there are currently no non-sports-based options on the river, at a time when the town's tourism policy is turning increasingly towards the Loire, not least through the Rive d'Arts exhibition space, an open-air café with music (guinguette) and trails laid out for walks and other outings.  

The nearby campsite, swimming area, museum and media library, all located on Île du château, make it a strategic site for developing a varied, appealing tourism offering.  

This provision will have to cater to all sorts of people (families, children, the elderly and tourists passing through). Proposed pricing will also have to be affordable. The activities will run during the summer period, from May through to September.
