On 13 April 2007, Chloé Campo, from Montauzon, the Mission Val de Loire's technical adviser, and Vincent Rotge, Director of the International Rivers and Heritage Institute, were invited to give a presentation on the management system of the Val de Loire – World Heritage site, and the Institute, at the University of Ferrara in Italy, as part of its MuSeC course, which offers advanced training in managing museums and cultural services.
The course is designed for people who are already in employment, and offers them the opportunity to acquire basic or further knowledge and skills in the areas of planning, programme design and management of museums and cultural services based on an innovative teaching methodology and a firmly international outlook.
A partnership between the International Rivers and Heritage Institute and the
University of Ferrara
is currently being examined.
